How PBIS within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports Students with Complex Needs
This session will describe the critical factors and components that need to be in place at every tier of PBIS/MTSS to ensure that all students, including students with complex needs, have equitable access to academic and behavioral supports. Participants will explore strategies for strengthening Tier 1/Universal PBIS and discuss the changing roles of educators and mental health partners. In addition, strategies for effective parent-school partnerships, leadership, and teaming practices to support all learners will also be highlighted. Participants will develop actionable next steps for implementing more effective PBIS/MTSS.
